Technical Co-Builder (AI/Product Engineering)

Looking for a technical co-builder (AI/Product Engineering) for something a little different. I'm a commercial HVAC engineer based in Queensland with 40 years in the industry. Over the past 12 months I've been building an AI-powered engineering platform called AirConnect™. It started as a field inspection app. It's evolved into something much bigger. The vision is to build an Engineering Intelligence Platform that captures engineering knowledge, not just maintenance records. Think: - Digital Asset Passports - Engineering Evidence Records - QR-linked assets - Structured inspection workflows - AI-assisted diagnostics - Engineering knowledge graphs - Fault Detection & Diagnostics (FDD) - A growing engineering knowledge library built from real field evidence The platform is already well underway in Replit with a working application, and I'm now looking for someone who enjoys building with modern AI tools rather than traditional software development alone. I'm not looking for someone to "build me an app." I'm looking for someone who enjoys solving hard technical problems and wants to help build something that could genuinely change how engineering knowledge is captured and preserved. Ideal experience would include some combination of: - Replit / Cursor / AI-assisted development - React / TypeScript - PostgreSQL / Supabase - Python (data engineering and AI pipelines) - GitHub - API integrations - Modern LLM workflows HVAC experience isn't expected—that's my job. Curiosity, systems thinking and a willingness to build something ambitious are far more important. Initially this would likely start as a contract or part-time collaboration, with the potential to become a long-term founding technical role if we're a good fit.
