Business Development Manager – Commercial Cleaning & Facilities Maintenance

I run a commercial cleaning and facility maintenance company, operating for 3 years now, based in Sydney, generating $800K per year, with a solid business plan to grow further. I am looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) or Growth Manager to join our team in Sydney. We advertised on Seek and LinkedIn for over 3 months, but not a single contract or new job was brought in, so I no longer have the confidence to hire a BDM on a base salary plus commission arrangement. Instead, I am now looking for someone open to a revenue-sharing model to start, which is 33.3% on any projects secured. If the BDM can prove themselves by onboarding 2–3 contracts, I am happy to offer a base salary plus a share on every project — not just a commission.
